OUR STORY
A Yeshiva That Builds
Founded in 1987 by Rabbi Levi Dicker זצ”ל, a devoted talmid of Rav Aharon Kotler זצ”ל, Yeshiva Mercaz HaTorah has passed the מסורה of Torah growth to generations of bochurim. Today, under the leadership of Rabbi Shmuel Zev Dicker שליט”א, the Yeshiva has blossomed into a bastion of Torah growth.
Rabbi Levi Dicker זצ״ל, a Talmid Muvhak of Rav Aharon Kutler זצ״ל, founds Yeshiva Mercaz HaTorah in Belle Harbor, NY.
Purchased 4-acre property in Pomona, NY for the campus of our future.
Following the petirah of the Rosh HaYeshiva, his son, Rabbi Shmuel Zev Dicker שליט״א, assumes leadership.
The Yeshiva hosts a magnificent groundbreaking for the new campus.
Hurricane Sandy devastates the Yeshiva, causing major damage to the Belle Harbor building.

After Hurricane Sandy devastated our Belle Harbor building in 2012, we set our sights on a permanent home worthy of the Yeshiva’s growth — a majestic Beis Medrash and campus built to serve Mercaz HaTorah for generations.
